- Menu:

Every restaurant in Korea has a duty to list the origin of the ingredients for visitors to see. I usually order after checking the origin of the food I eat. In the case of the restaurant, it said that rice, beans, garlic, onions, peppers, cabbages, chicken and pork are used only in Korea.

- Comments: Until last year, when I ordered noodles from this restaurant, they refilled an unlimited amount of soup and noodles. So, when two people visited this restaurant together, they ordered one dumpling and one kalguksu and shared it and refilled soup and noodles. However, I read the notice on the wall yesterday said that they would only refill the noodles and soup if visitors order according to the number of people. And sometimes dumplings and kongguksu are sold out early because they are only made in a set amount per day, but when I visited I never saw them sold out. This restaurant is where I have been with my mom since I was 4~5 years old. The restaurant opened in 1966, is most famous for is strong and deep broth than other restaurants. So I often visit this restaurant until now. Of course, it is always crowded with tourists and there are many people at lunch and dinner time. And the service is not as kind as before but I recommend you to try it if you visit Myeongdong.

Each restaurant has seats more than 200 seats and circulation is fast so rarely wait long. The spoon and chopsticks are in the drawer of each table, as shown in the video. Most Korean restaurants have these drawers on their tables.

Payment made at the same time as ordering food. I ordered kalguksu and dumpling as usual. Kimchi may feel a little bit spicy compared to other ordinary kimchi because it has a lot of red pepper powder and garlic, but since the kalguksu broth is a little greasy so if you eat kimchi with kalguksu, it is good.

Dumplings are filled with pork, leeks, and various vegetables.

I recommend this restaurant for those who:

- want to experience real Korean local food

- plan to travel to Myeongdong

- want to visit an old Korean restaurant

- love noodles
